How Do I Automatically Update Office For Mac?
Microsoft AutoUpdate keeps your Office copy up-to-date with the most recent security updates and improvements. If you subscribe to Microsoft Office.com/setup 365, you will receive the most recent features and tools.
Make sure to check for updates and install
To open Word in Office, click on Help > Check For Updates.
If the Update Check is not displayed, then you can run the Microsoft AutoUpdate tool’s most recent version and check for updates.
You can automatically choose to keep Microsoft Apps current to receive the latest security corrections and features that will help keep your Mac safe and updated.
Click Update to download all the latest updates.
Click on the arrow beside the Update button to view each update detail. Next, click Update All or Update Each App.
Download Update Office from Mac App Store
When Office has been downloaded from the Mac App Store, and automatic updates are enabled, you can upload your apps automatically. However, you can also manually download the updates:
Open the Dock or Finder’s Mac App Store.
Click Updates on the right-hand menu and click Update All or Next to the Apps.

Select the current Channel or Beta Channel.
You can access fully-supported buildings easily via the existing channel (preview).
Beta is the best choice if you are looking for the most recent, but unsupported preview builds.

Click on Accept to download Insider Updates. Next, check for updates.
